INTEGRATED FOCAL PSYCHOLOGY

What is Integrated Focal Psychology?
It is a model of Clinical Psychology that focuses on the focus, that is, on the specific psychological need underlying an individual's emerging distress. According to this approach, the developmental model, the psychoanalytic model, and the cognitive model work together to design and implement treatment, depending on the individual's needs.
Each intervention is coordinated with the client, who becomes an active participant in the treatment, which can be conducted in a single phase or, in particularly challenging cases, in a sequence of phases depending on the desired improvement goals. The goal of the interventions is to facilitate the relationship between the individual and their internal world , overcoming the difficulties that create distress and developing hidden potential, thus achieving a positive quality of life. Each person operates within their own bio-psycho-social framework, which is the horizon of their lifelong growth, which is supported and enhanced through the therapeutic relationship. The tools used include: identifying focus and personal resources, emotional re-education, the therapist's empathy and flexibility, clarification and interpretation of experiences, emotional engagement with the patient for corrective purposes, and the possible use of psychometric testing. Accurate and personalized psychodiagnostic assessments are also performed, accompanied by a clinical certificate and second opinion.
To better manage traumatic experiences or high levels of stress, the Studio offers Acceptance and Committed Therapy sessions, focused on improving the internal narrative and the dynamic between the self and the outside world.
